Despite the repeated calls from the local society and international voices to the Houthi militias and Saleh group to stop torturing detainees and to allow international organizations to enter prisons and detention centers and see the conditions of detainees, the militias continue to reject this without giving it any importance, on the other hand they are continuing the series of arrests, by arresting hundreds of political activists, journalists and civilians from roads, streets and cities, even from houses, and that shows how the militias have destroyed the sanctity of these houses by breaking into it from time to time in various Yemeni towns and cities.

At the time of writing this report, news and information says that new detainees have been arrested by the Houthi militias in Sana'a, Dhamar, Taiz and other areas.

Among those detained over the past few hours was the governor counselor of Al-Bayda'a province, Moqbel Ahmed Al-Abahi, who was arrested by the Houthi and Saleh militia from a street in the capital Sana'a.

"Gunmen suspected to belong to the Houthi-controlled national security apparatus in Sanaa arrested Al-Abahi ,who is from the town of Rada'a in Al-Bayda'a province (center of Yemen) while he was returning home and took him to an unknown destination," local sources said.

The Houthis had kidnapped in the month of Ramadan, the ex- parliamentary Ahmad Abdul-Wali Al-Tshi during his departure from Taraweeh prayers in the city of Rada'a.

There are large numbers of Huthi gunmen checkpoints in Sana'a and its entrances and along the roads connecting the cities. On a daily basis, these checkpoints search the passersby's cards and telephones, and then arrest many of them and put them in prisons and detention centers after being suspected and charged with no signs and all this not related to the Law and the Yemeni Constitution.

The Houthi's actions are usually strange and unbelievable. They do not give the detainees the right to inform his family that he is detained and in the detention centers the detainees are subjected to various forms of torture and extortion.

American diplomat tells his experience in the prisons of the Houthi militia

A US diplomat, spoke with Al-Arabiya channel, and gave details of his arrest by the Houthi group in Sana'a, details of his torture and the confiscation of militias for all his possessions and money.

The American diplomat pointed out that the torture he faced was in a prison he did not know exactly where he was, but he was able to identify the distance from the Sana'a international airport . He said that the distance he spent while being transferred by the Houthis from the airport until they took him to the prison lasted twenty minutes Almost.

In the section where he was put in, he said that there were about 100 people detained and their psychological conditions looked very bad and on the bodies of some of them there were signs of severe torture.

The man was not released from prison in solitary confinement and torture, saying that he was deprived of all his rights to the extent that he was deprived of seeing the sun for nearly 90 days. In addition, he said that durin the investigations the Houthis used to call translators who had a bad english to say and answer to their questions and that which made the investigation period difficult and lengthy.

Iranians kidnapped by militias

The arrest of foreigners by militias in the scenario of the confiscation of freedoms and extortion is continuing in full swing.

Special sources in the General Authority of Lands in Sanaa revealed to the "Post website" that the Houthis and national security arrested an Iranian who worked as a director of the authority for nearly twenty years, called Badi Allah Snai, an this is the second detention he had by the militias and national security.

The sources were surprised by these measures, and the objectives behind them, especially since the man is Iranian and the group ally is Iran and they receive support from them constantly, and this is which is being talked about and is exposed to public opinion.

The sources expect that the purpose of his arrest is to obtain funds from the same person or by the state of Iran or his family there.

Thousands of detainees in prisons suffer from all forms of violations and torture daily, in the absence of human rights institutions and the method of intimidation and muzzle the mouths by the militias that have pursued since entering Sana'a.

Detainees under human trafficking

At a time when thousands of detainees in prisons suffer from all forms of human rights violations, their parents and their relatives suffer the same in order to get them out of prison or at least to assure them. By officers, lawyers or ordinary persons, who claim to know the whereabouts of the detainees and their ability to release them for large sums of money.

The sources of rights talk about this problem,  that it became what is known as the black market for detainees, sometimes the group of Houthi and Saleh, does the process of kidnappings and arrests, and then begin to negotiate the parents for money to get them out, and there are some people came out with large amounts of money reaches to millions , according to the ability of the person, and thus occur blackmail, and in some cases they get paid without releasing the detainees, and there are also some huge payments paid by the relatives of the detainees to visit them, so the detainees turned into a black market, and human rights sources describe these matters as human trafficking.

"The idea of dealing with the kidnappers is a terrorist idea and may be part of the human trafficking situation," says political and human rights activist Mohammed al-Muqbali. "On a personal level, I heard a lot of kidnapped people's relatives talking about the release of  their relatives for money."

"The latest human rights reports indicate that there are more than 12,000 kidnapped in the jails of the group, and this number is very alarming,an that means we are facing a serious phenomenon that has not happened in modern political and civil history, and the presence of torture as a phenomenon is a phenomenon alien to Yemeni customs Civil, and social, and it bears the seeds of fascism for the Houthi coup and Saleh. "

The human rights sources believe that the figures mentioned by humanitarian organizations are few in size, because there are very many people who are arrested and have not been reported by their families, and since the Houthi and Saleh militias promise the families of the abductees are to release them. They Inform them that if they spoke to the media, the problem would grow and the release would become difficult.

"When we ask the people of the detainee why they did not inform human rights organizations, they say this is a request from the Houthis when they werepromising them to release their relatives" says human rights sources.
